Improve your game through professional tennis instruction

Ed Murphy is a certified tennis instructor through the Professional Tennis Registry. He is currently the boys' and girls' tennis coach for Sequoia High School. Tennis is Ed's passion and is his second career after working at Stanford University for over 20 years. Ed lives in Palo Alto with his wife Jan, a graphic designer (and his web designer!)

In addition to private and semi-private lessons, Ed offers Cardio Tennis classes in Redwood City. In January 2009, Ed took a workshop for running Cardio Tennis classes and became very excited about the program. For additional information, please go to gocardiotennis.net.

Ed teaches private and semi-private lessons. He coaches all ages and all levels.

FEES
Private lessons
$60 per 1-hour session
$30 per 30-minute session

Semi-private lessons
$35 per person for each 1-hour session

SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS
This format works best if the two players sharing the lesson are close enough in skills to be able to compete with one another.
Advantages of semi-private lessons include:
• Individualized attention
• Cost is shared
• Competing with your lesson partner facilitates intensive singles instruction
